OUR COMPRESENSIVE SECURITY GUARD TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Prevention of and Response to Suicide Bombing Incidents (PRSBI)

This course provides a formal process that emergency responders can take in order to
recognize the pre-attack indicators to assist in the prevention of suicide bombings and safely
and effectively respond to a suicide bombing once it has occurred. It effectively trains guards
to be familiar with improvised explosive devices (IED’s) and explosive materials typically used
    in suicide bombings.

2. Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (IRTB)

This ‘awareness level’ course provides response procedures for terrorist incidents involving
    energetic materials (explosives and incendiaries).

3. Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Radiological/Nuclear Awareness

The emphasis of this course focuses on the effects of radiation, possible health effects, hazard
identification, and proper notification procedures. This trains guards on the fundamentals of
radiation, radioactive material, ionization, contamination, indicative signs and symptoms of
exposure, and recognition for the presence of radiological elements. The guard will be able to
communicate the need for additional resources during a radiological incident as well as
responding in a safe manner to radiological/nuclear threats of terrorism and its potential impact
    on the community.

4. WMD Awareness Training

This course provides recognition, avoidance, isolation, and notification techniques in a
‘weapons of mass destruction’ environment which includes but is not limited to campus
settings, schools, office buildings, recreation areas, etc. It will allow guards to demonstrate a
working knowledge of the prevention and deterrence strategy, to identify indicators of potential
terrorist acts, notification techniques of chemical agents and toxic industrial chemicals of
explosive devices when used as WMD’s.

5. Gang Awareness Program

This course includes steps that parents, first responders, schools and law enforcement can
take in looking for signs or indicators of gang association. The course also addresses the
influence of peers, media, video games, and our culture that lures children and young adults to
the gang culture. Guards will focus on the prevention of gang involvement once completed.

6. Active School Shooter Awareness

This course includes steps that schools, students and first responders can take to be aware of
the warning signs present in an active school shooter scenario. Guards will be able to
recognize the five phases that an active school shooter takes before and during the attack.
Once completed guards will be educated with the safe school initiative, profiling, similarities,
options and signs of this threatening situation.
